ABSTRACT

The practice of introducing an entire complex of intensification measures is appropriate only at the preparatory stage of the ponds in fish farms with technically correct management and a systematic follow-up. Ponds in which a complex of intensification measures is implemented are usually drainable and fishing in them relatively easy and complete. Thus, the intensification complex in pond fisheries means the simultaneous and multifaceted treatment of ponds and the fish reared in them, using all the methods known for increasing fish productivity. At present the complex of intensification measures has become a generally accepted method for increasing the yield of fish per unit of pond area. If the fish productivity is less than the value of the total fish productivity, then the growth rate for each of the intensification measures used should be reduced in accordance with its total weight in the total calculated increase in fish production.
