ABSTRACT

This chapter explains the most powerful technology for 24-hour employees — that of optimizing performance no matter what the schedule. It explains the simplicity of “F.A.S.T.” performance tracking and improvement and give you ideas on how to promote it among your employees. The system’s science relies upon tracking techniques as “efforts” in each of the four F.A.S.T. Performance tracking system is divided into three recording categories: Targets, Efforts, and Results. Performance Tracking and Improvement is applied behavioral science at its very best: simple, trackable, real-world oriented, and directed at the individual’s performance improvement. There are two types of F.A.S.T. Tracking Indicators: efforts and results. Team-based Tracking is where the entire team takes on improvement targets in Fitness, Alertness, Sleep, and Time off.
