ABSTRACT
There are so many varieties of bench-top and floor-standing low-speed, bench-top high-speed centrifuges and microfuges commercially available, that a list of manufacturers and suppliers would cover many pages if it attempted to be comprehensive. Moreover, many of these are available from general scientific supplies companies and will be known to the administrative sections of academic and commercial laboratories. Instead, this list is restricted to the provision of full contact details of the major producers of ultracentrifuge and floor-standing high-speed centrifuges, of the specialty equipment used for making and collecting density gradients and of density gradient media.
