ABSTRACT
The utilization of hyperconcentrated flow will be illustrated in this chapter. Through practise and systematic research and field observation people accumulated experience and mastered mechanism of hyperconcentrated flow, and hyperconcentrated irrigation/warping developed rapidly in seventies. Due to the high viscosity of the hyperconcentrated flow very few or even no particles settle during the motion of hyperconcentrated density current, and the mixing at the interface between the clear water and the turbid water is weak too. In some and area where water is extremely cherished, even turbid water coming in flood season should not be released without utilization. To solve this problem somebody suggested that the great sediment-carrying capacity of hyperconcen-trated flow be utilized, that is, sediment be transported into sea by natural or an artificially produced hyperconcentrated flow and saved clear water be utilized for agricultural or a industrial purpose.
