ABSTRACT

The hydrodynamics of groundwater flows is studied with regard to its sphere of interaction with the environmental changes brought about by engineering constructions. In the zone of action of engineering constructions generally spatial filtration of underground water appears. Steady head leads to reformation of the piezometric surface and the role of groundwater flow discharge in the zone of influence of these engineering constructions. In the second zone movement of flow takes place around the dam. The fourth zone is situated beyond the limits of the dam, i.e., downstream; a considerable deformation of the natural flow occurs here and the filtration is considered planar. To make short-term prognoses of the hydrodynamics of the flow based on the theory of moisture transfer, the related or concerned regime of groundwaters with the regime of change in moisture in the zone of aeration.
