ABSTRACT

This chapter covers the systems architecture that lays the groundwork for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). The assessment and control plan describes how the key artifacts will be assessed and controlled throughout the systems engineering life cycle. All of the plans identified in the model are part of the systems engineering management plan. They are developed at different points in the systems engineering life cycle. The maintenance plan describes how to maintain the system, and includes the maintenance results and any maintenance issues. The training plans describe how the operators will be trained to operate the system. The human systems integration plan is used to plan how humans integrate and use the system.
