ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the interfacing of 8051 with peripheral devices in inter IC communication mode. It discusses the interfacing of devices with 8051 and NuttyFi with the help of circuit diagram and programming. DHT11 is a single wire digital humidity and temperature sensor, which provides humidity and temperature values serially. It can measure relative humidity in percentage and temperature in degree Celsius in the range of 0–50°C. Ultrasonic Module HC-SR04 works on the principle of SONAR system. The HC-SR04 module has ultrasonic transmitter, receiver, and control circuit on a single board. The module has four pins, Vcc, Gnd, Trig, and Echo. An Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory is a non-volatile flash memory, which has the capability to retain data even if the power is removed.
