ABSTRACT
Natural and artificial fibre-reinforced composites are discussed with a theoretical consideration of unidirectional composites. The range of fibres that are used for such composites, polymer matrix composites and the manufacturing methods for composites are also discussed, as are laminated wood, reinforced concrete, cardboard and honeycomb panels.
