ABSTRACT
Radiation detectors are another important devices for nuclear reaction measurements. The basic principles of both ionization and scintillation type detectors are described. The principle of operation of gas detectors and solid-state semiconductor detectors are described in details. The most important parameters of these detectors, namely the resolution and efficiency, are introduced. The utility of these detectors in different nuclear experiments are introduced.
