ABSTRACT
Chapter 3 discusses the recent developments in the area of spectrum sensing. First, the literature on narrowband spectrum sensing is given, followed by the wideband spectrum sensing. In the subsequent section, recently developed cooperative spectrum sensing (CSS) techniques for narrowband and wideband sensing are discussed. Finally, a literature survey on machine-learning-based spectrum sensing is presented.
