ABSTRACT

This chapter offers a brief discussion on how the network API may look, and how the people can achieve different scenarios with the help of such an API. COA's common lexicon provides a mechanism to assign real-world features with common names that can be shared and understood among all COA applications. It offers certain compute resources to the network, and it consumes compute power offered by others to complete complex tasks. With more modern companies switching to a pure online working environment, such browser-based cloud platforms have great potentials to provide and end-to-end, high performance online office environment that supports the complete spectrum of activities, from design to develop to test to release. COA has many interesting revolutionary application scenarios, such as breaking down the boundaries of applications, building intelligent applications that can dynamically acquire new capabilities, creating context-aware and adaptive applications, making AI approachable to the whole community and building a browser native cloud platform.
