ABSTRACT
Proof of ammunition establishes of the standard or quality of the ammunition. Proof is considered a necessity to ensure that the ammunition and its components perform in the desired manner. This chapter provides the role of proof of pyrotechnic ammunitions and devices, test and proof of composition and components, deployment and functioning of pyrotechnic ammunitions, parameters of bulk-filled lot proof, types of bulk-filled lot proof, defect classification, lot size and sampling plan and some major defects in proof of ammunitions. References are given at the end of the chapter.
