ABSTRACT
Companion planting is the interplanting of two or more crops that benefit from their association. Reported benefits of companion planting are control of pests, improvement of soil conditions, improvement of product and yield, and thinning of crops. Some of the benefits are well documented, whereas others are untested and may be only testimonials.
