ABSTRACT

Provides a general description of self-compacting ash-containing concrete. Rheological features of cement-ash pastes and technological properties of ash-containing concrete mixtures are analyzed on the basis of experimental-statistical models. The influence of the main technological factors on strength properties of ash-containing concrete mixtures with high fluidity is discussed. Along with basic properties, the influence of fly ash and other factors on crack resistance, water tightness, pore structure and frost resistance is analyzed. A methodology for compositions design and optimization of self-compacting ash-containing concrete is proposed. Numerical examples of its implementation are given.
