ABSTRACT
Facilities engineers are responsible for handling design and construction of processes, facilities, and equipment to measure, control and purify hydrocarbons. Purification of oil and gas is done by separating them from other liquids and gases present in the subsurface, such as water and carbon dioxide. Facilities engineers also handle operation, maintenance, and repair of these facilities and equipment.
