ABSTRACT
Businesses do not always have to use virgin raw materials and depending on techno-commercial viability and supply availability, many businesses have started sourcing Secondary Raw Materials (SRM). All Ecoware products are compostable in 90 days, as the raw materials are drawn from natural sources. Raw material is sourced from paper mills that use bagasse as a substitute for wood to produce paper and board. Recycling infrastructure such as Material Recovery Facilities (MRF) includes businesses that provide opportunities for waste sorting, recycling, and recovery on a scale. These businesses are set up as an independent facility servicing waste management for an industrial cluster or for urban areas. Waste to Energy business has been growing despite controversies regarding its circularity and mixed experience on the ground. Urban mining has emerged as a business in the last two decades for waste recovery from dumpsites and landfills.
