ABSTRACT
This chapter introduces RNA as one of the most essential building blocks of life, besides DNA and protein. Amongst these molecules, RNA is the most versatile entity. Various types of RNA like rRNA, tRNA, snRNA, mRNA, etc. are discussed. Lastly, functions of RNA are discussed at length.
