ABSTRACT
Decorative and reinforced brickwork is covered in this chapter. Various designs for brickwork panels from stack bond to the more intricate herringbone. Other decorative areas such as string courses, soldier courses, brick corbels, dentil and dog toothing are described. Methods of reinforcing brickwork are shown along with the various bonds, such as quetta and rat trap bond and the different types of reinforcement.
