ABSTRACT
Repairing and maintenance of masonry structures including finding the source of the problem is described. Defects caused by poor material choice, poor design, poor workmanship and external forces are explained. Types of repair and maintenance are shown including fitting a lintel, door and window, damp proof course, underpinning and all the various supports required.
