ABSTRACT
The following three chapters provide worked examples for three different types of Ripple-Down Rules (RDR). The three RDR demonstrators were developed in Excel and VBA to make them widely accessible and as a group are known as Excel_RDR. This chapter describes the basic operations available in Excel_RDR. They include creating rules and running cases in various ways. The various RDR demonstrators are pre-loaded with the Zoo dataset from the UCIrvine machine learning data repository, as anyone should be able to guess rules for this data.
