ABSTRACT

The chapter presents the method of organizing a digital network of a smart city based on the pulse-time method for describing complex images. A network is described as one that consists of biometric sensors located on the territory of a smart city, divided into sectors. Biometric sensors fix the position of a certain person according to his biometric characteristics. All sectors are monitored by video cameras and the images from the visual images of each sector are combined into a general visual image. The image of the general visual picture consists of moving objects that are formed from video cameras of all sectors of the city. The resulting image of the general urban picture is processed and described by time – an impulse sequence, the shape of which describes the geometric shapes of objects, their sizes, and distances between them. Using this method, the movement of city residents and animals in real time is described, which can protect people of a smart city from unwanted meetings, or, conversely, help find a person within a smart city.
