ABSTRACT
The development of most machine vision systems is carried out in the direction of building systems in which the processes are similar to the vision of living beings. Pre-processing involves mechanisms to create information that will be stored in the memory of the intellectual systems. It is also desirable to be able to convert the saved data to its original form. This chapter describes the processes for restoring the original image using reference surface data by the circumscribed rectangles method. Methods for determining the parameters of circumscribed rectangles for figures of different shapes are considered. The mechanism of formation of reference surfaces of parts of images on the basis of data of reference surfaces of these figures is offered.
