ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on the life-cycle greenhouse gas emissions calculations for the case studies that are Green Star-certified. The chapter is divided into two main parts. The first part describes the estimation scope, functional unit, and system boundary of the case studies to be assessed by the life-cycle greenhouse gas emissions assessment model. Different validation methods are discussed and chosen to confirm that the analytical model deployed is sustainable and suitable for the model’s intended purpose. This chapter comprehensively discusses the validation case studies as well as validating methods.
