ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on how to control the blood pressure, reduce all of the cardiovascular and kidney diseases, improve the life, and how to live long. It presents a summary of the Hypertension Institute program to lower the blood pressure. It includes determining the blood pressure level and other important measurements using a 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitor in conjunction with regular office blood pressures and home blood pressure readings; Measuring the blood micronutrient and macronutrient status and optimally replacing all of those deficiencies with proper nutrition and supplements, antioxidants, and minerals; Measuring the blood micronutrient and macronutrient status and optimally replacing all of those deficiencies with proper nutrition and supplements, antioxidants, and minerals; Starting the Hypertension Institute blood pressure nutrition program; Using specific blood pressure–lowering nutritional supplements; Exercising regularly with both resistance and aerobic exercises using guidelines that are recommended in this book and by the physician.
