ABSTRACT

The virtual simulation is to create a search operation on the subsea pipeline. A scenario will be set up where there will be a leakage in one of the jumpers and the task of the remotely operated vehicle (ROV) is to search for the location of the leakage and shut down that subsea system. The training simulation will be developed using the UnityTM. The Unity’s configurations and setups are discussed. It includes the developing of virtual environment, ROV model and its specifications, controller inputs, graphical user interface, and scripting.
