ABSTRACT
Almost all electrical power is produced by three-phase sources. Many electric motors are also used in three-phase applications. This chapter introduces three-phase systems and discusses Delta and Wye connections of three-phase sources and loads. This chapter also discusses measurement of average power in three-phase circuits and strategies for power factor correction.
