ABSTRACT
At this point, the reader has all the tools of leadership, ethics, and alignment. The question remaining is: “How do we apply them to increase construction productivity and improve team effectiveness?” Chapter 14 provides some people-related tools and insights to help design and construction leaders accomplish this mission. The discussion brings out actions that the owners, design consultants, and constructors can take to increase the production rate. These include, among other things, committing proper resources, as well as improving delivery team productivity, design productivity, and field labor productivity. The chapter ends with a productivity-related case study.
