ABSTRACT

When the feed gas specification was to vary significantly, the Start-up of the Plant and Normal Operation could take a longer time than it is allowed in the Level 3 Schedule, and such circumstances might result in delays in Contract Deadlines. If Owner requires co-operation under such trying times, his Contractor is expected to extend it. While doing so, the Owner should ensure that it compensates the losses the Contractor incurs in respect of extension of Insurances applicable thereof, Performance bank guarantees, and the extended stay of Contractor’s indirect staff. The extended time that the Owner requires is to make trial runs to identify practically where the bottlenecks are associated.
