ABSTRACT

his chapter discusses the conceptual framework underpinning this study. The hypothesized employability improvement framework is also presented in this chapter, based on a rigorous review of nine previous employability models, which were presented earlier in this book. This chapter also discusses the employability framework and its main variables with the exception of the university and industry collaboration (UIC) and Industry 4.0 knowledge (gaps in employability research) which have already been discussed extensively. Based on the identification and justification of selected variables, this chapter draws conclusions based on the conceptual framework.
