ABSTRACT
This chapter presents the theoretical framework that underpins this research. This helps to review the underlying philosophies, assumptions, theories, and methodological techniques of the study. This chapter also presents the theoretical and conceptual employability frameworks by conducting a rigorous literature review. In this chapter, a historical overview of the employability concept will be conducted. By reviewing existing employability frameworks, key variables will be observed which forms the basis for developing an employability framework.
