ABSTRACT
This chapter reviews the various employability and generic competency frameworks in several international contexts. The chapter also examines the role of graduates in socio-economic development according to several international legislations and policies. Additionally, the concept of globalization and its theories are examined. Furthermore, a comparative employability skills analysis is conducted in selected countries. Finally, this chapter also revises several international research studies conducted on employability as well as various employability skills required for graduate success.
