ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on the value of auditing in terms of (a) quality, (b) delivery, (c) cost, and (d) responsiveness. It also addresses the value of a sound supply chain and addresses some common problems that if they are identified early, they may be minimized or even eliminated. The chapter closes with several concerns and issues regarding certification.
