ABSTRACT
This chapter describes how best to deploy the cloud Data Center Network (DCN) solution based on Huawei’s extensive deployment experience. In the O&M management zone, a dedicated O&M management system is deployed to manage and monitor the entire DCN and IT applications. When deploying a software-defined networking (SDN) DCN, the service network and management network should be planned separately. In cloud-network integration, the cloud platform can connect to Load balancers provided by some vendors and automatically deliver load balancing services. When deploying an SDN DCN, plan the service network and management network separately. The chapter discusses the key steps involved in manually deploying and configuring an underlay network. It examines the key process of provisioning services on an SDN DCN. In cloud-network integration, the SDN controller interconnects with the cloud platform, and the administrator delivers services on the cloud platform’s graphical user interface.
