Oil and gas sector projects are considered as biggest sector in terms of investment as well as in employment generation. Oil and gas projects are categorized as process type of projects. In order to conveniently manage and control the project at each stage, the oil and gas construction project life cycle is divided into six phases. This chapter discusses the application of quality management processes, procedures, methods and concepts in all the activities, elements phases of the project that span from project inception through substantial completion to make the construction project most qualitative, competitive, and economical.
