ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses the Standard, these activities are organized by the three program management phases of Program Definition, Program Delivery, and Program Closure. These activities include: Program Change Management, Program Communications Management, Program Financial Management, Program Information Management, Program Procurement Management, Program Quality Management, Program Resource Management, Program Risk Management, Program Schedule Management and Program Scope Management. In addition to the performance domains, there are many supporting program-level activities throughout program life cycle. The main purpose of the Program Definition Phase is to confirm that the program is appropriate for full implementation. In the part of Program Definition Phase, program managers shift the attention to more concretely prepare the program for implementation. The program management plan contains many parts, but one of the most important part is the program roadmap. When finalized, the program roadmap shows the arrangement and order in which the program components will be implemented.
