ABSTRACT

Only after a set of design plans is drawn, needed right of way is acquired, and necessary environmental permits are obtained, is a project ready to be constructed. Successfully implementing a design plan during the construction phase relies not only on the quality of the design plan, but also the experience and knowledge possessed by construction personnel. To carry out any construction activity efficiently, a wide range of skilled personnel with appropriate experience, licenses, permits, and certificates are needed. Land surveying is a regulated professional activity where practitioners must be licensed by a regulatory board. The regulatory board is sanctioned by its State government through a state statute. A bulldozer is a type of heavy construction machine powered by a tracked tractor and equipped with a heavy metal blade to push soil, sand, or other loose material during construction. It is one of the most common types of construction site preparation equipment.
