ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we briefly review some methods to solve the first order ordinary differential equations (ODEs). Then we discuss the well-posedness of the first order ODEs. Moreover, we study a few elementary differential inequalities and their applications. Toward the end of the chapter, we focus on the asymptotic behavior of scalar autonomous ODEs.
