ABSTRACT

This chapter will take users through the process of lighting and rendering the night exterior scene.

It will start by setting up the Image sampler (Antialiasing) for draft renders first, followed by repositioning the VRaySun object to achieve a dusk/night effect.

Also, to fine-tune the overall lighting, tools such as the IPR will be used, followed by creating VRay Disc and Plane lights to illuminate the interior and the exterior parts of the scene meticulously.

Finally, layer tree presets and LightMix properties will be used extensively to tweak, create, and render the final night scene.
