ABSTRACT

This chapter will take users through the process of creating materials and rendering the final scene.

It will start by taking users through the intricacies of creating materials, setting up the scene for final rendering, and rendering the final image realistically.

It will start by using the VRay Asset Browser to load materials such as Wood Planks, Iron Blurry, Laminated Wood, Plastic Metallic, Metallic Paint Copper, Stucco, Bricks, and the Asphalt, followed by using Modifiers, procedural maps and functionalities such as UVW Map, ColorCorrection, VRayDirt, VRayDisplacementMod, material IDs, Apply to selected object, Fog color, Refract, Reflect, and much more to achieve photorealistic results.

Finally, users will be shown how to create VRay proxies, merge them in main scene, set up the Image sampler, Render Elements, Region Renders, and the final high-resolution renders for printing.
