ABSTRACT
This chapter contains two clinical cases that are common critical incidents that may occur in anaesthetics and intensive care and often come up in both the Primary and Final viva examinations. The first case is a drug overdose, where the assessment and treatment of a patient is discussed. The second case demonstrates the management of an obstetric patient that has experienced awareness under general anaesthesia.
