ABSTRACT

In this chapter, monographs of 507 systemic drugs that have caused cutaneous adverse drug reactions from delayed-type hypersensitivity as shown by positive patch tests are presented. The monographs, shown in alphabetical order, have a standardized format, which is explained and detailed in Chapter 1.2. The systemic drugs discussed here are shown in table 3.1. An overview of the clinical manifestations of delayed-type hypersensitivity to systemic drugs is given in Chapter 2. These manifestations can be either (a variety of) cutaneous drug reactions (eruptions, exanthemas), with or without internal organ involvement, or allergic contact dermatitis from accidental contact.
