ABSTRACT
Regardless of how perfect your overall network and systems architecture is designed for, regardless of the state-of-the-art networking and IT technologies that are deployed in your network, the overall QoE is at the mercy of how well your operations’ associates are executing 100,000’s of network impacting procedures (e.g., provisioning, maintenance, technology introduction, security defenses, network reconfiguration, etc.) on a day-to-day basis.
In this chapter, we provide a high-level view of the principles that must be designed and implemented to enable the flawless execution of the operations activities on a daily basis.
