ABSTRACT

This book builds on basic knowledge and provides complete working examples that can easily be deployed into existing web applications. A focus is placed on the diversity of the libraries used in this book to provide a learning experience with different code bases. Although many different web browsers exist, Google Chrome version 80 was used during the development of the examples in this book. This introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of this book. The book provides an outline of the core types of data that can be gathered for analysis and the tools required to get started. It explores the various approaches that can be used to collect data from a user directly, such as rating stars, binary feedback, and custom response forms. The chapter describes the process of creating a custom visualization dashboard with login and registration pages.
