ABSTRACT

Data-driven decisions reduce bias by removing intuition from the decision-making process. Undertaking a digital transformation to leverage AI-based tools and people analytics requires a change management process to ensure strategic alignment, effective digital tool selection, successful implementation, and adoption. Leveraging AI-based tools can support and promote workforce diversity, equity, and inclusion. When using AI tools, leadership must be cognizant of their potential biases in both design and use. Adopting an AI Code of Conduct encourages ethical use of AI and transparency of process improving JEDI outcomes. Increasingly, stakeholders such as customers, investors, banks, and employees are demanding information on organization’s human capital policies as the awareness around risks related to justice, equity, and inclusion are growing. When leveraging the personally identifiable information (PII) data, organizations must comply with global data privacy laws.
