ABSTRACT

Identifying and engaging with diverse stakeholders to gain perspective and understand issues is crucial for driving transformative change. Undertaking a JEDI assessment for key stakeholders provides a baseline from which to measure progress, and to gain a variety of perspectives on culture, organizational climate, policies and programs. The information gathered provides both quantitative and qualitative data providing an organizational profile as well as identifying areas of excellence and opportunities for improvement to inform management’s strategy development. Data can be gathered through formal and informal assessment survey tools depending on an organization’s requirements. Leveraging survey tools that utilize artificial intelligence (AI) to facilitate gathering actionable information for managers drives organizational impact. Developing a stakeholder engagement and communication supports authentic and impactful engagement to inform and drive systemic change. Tools like the Employee JEDI Survey Questions, Stakeholder Engagement Plan, Stakeholder JEDI Questions, and the ENGAGE model are offered as resources to plan and drive stakeholder engagement around JEDI issues.
