ABSTRACT
The GMC Good Medical Practice (GMP) guidance, Section 63, requires that health care professionals in the UK have appropriate insurance or indemnity arrangements covering the full scope of their medical practice.
You must make sure you have adequate insurance or indemnity cover so that your patients will not be disadvantaged if they make a claim about the clinical care you have provided in the UK.
