ABSTRACT
In the Indian context, the waste management situation is different from that in developed countries. The different factors that play a significant role in influencing waste management in various regions in the country are poor organizational structures, lack of technical equipment as well as laws and finance, etc. In recent decades, a visionary waste management system for waste-problems such as “Zero Waste” has been suggested as an alternative solution. Plastic recycling is that the process of recovering differing types of plastic material so as to reprocess them into varied other products, unlike their original form. Recycling of construction waste is a method to counter risk to construction wastes. Effective management of building-related waste requires coordinated action of governmental, business, and professional groups and their activities. The Belgium-based startup has taken the plastic management game a step higher by printing 3D sunglasses out of recycled plastic.
