ABSTRACT
This chapter provides guidance on how to collect samples of environmental media that an experimenter needs to test. Each type of media is sampled in a different way from the other forms. Sample collection sizes, containers, preservatives, and holding times are discussed, and tables in the Appendix are referenced for detailed data.
