ABSTRACT
This is a chapter of modular origami models that do not lie flat. These could fill an entire book, so the selected stars are planar i.e. consist of intersecting polygons. They do not have a conventional interior like other kinds of 3D stars like the small stellated dodecahedron. This chapter gives step-by-step written instructions and clear diagrams for five stars.
