ABSTRACT

Materials such as the gross fractions of crude oil (such as naphtha, kerosene, the middle distillates, and gas oil) which are usually obtained by distillation and/or refining are classed as crude oil products as well as wax, asphalt, and other products (such as coke, sulfonic acid derivative, and acid sludge. It is the purpose of this present chapter to illustrate the types of products that can be produced by the various refinery processes.
